As we return to soccer, it is important that we take the advice of health and soccer governing bodies very seriously. All SYSA policies are aligned with BC Soccer and VIA sport regulations and guidelines. Please please take the time to go over it and explain it to your kids.

We ran a successful summer program with social distanced soccer for over 100 kids. The program ran every weekday night for 7 weeks without any health complications.

We are now in the BC Soccer Return to Play phase 2 which allows for scrimmages and contact drills in practices and for competitive game play after September 7th. Teams will be grouped in cohorts of max 4 teams and will play each other. Throw-ins are replaced with kick-ins. Our house league program is starting up the week of September 8th, select and travel teams will start their seasons on the September 19-20 weekend.

Through practices and games it is important that players, coaches and spectators keep physical distance from each other unless they are in game play. This is especially important in between drills, when lining up for a drill and when arriving or departing from the field. Please follow your coaches arrival and departure information!
